The first new track from Beatie Wolfe since releasing the world’s first bioplastic record with Michael Stipe and Brian Eno’s EarthPercent, which sold out in a matter of hours and was covered globally.
This track “Little Things” comes off the back of Wolfe’s recent highly acclaimed ‘imPRINTING: the Artist’s Brain’ exhibition for the London Design Biennale at Somerset House where visitors could listen to 8 different brain channels (from music to memory, inner self to conversations) via retro wall-mounted telephones and a data-encoded “thinking cap” (pictured left) as the first ever sonic self-portrait.
Compared to early Velvet Underground by some of the world’s leading musical pioneers, “Little Things” has received a lot of early love and is the feature track in a new eco doc “Trees & Seas” which premieres at a film festival in Oceanside on its release day. The track was radio premiered by NPR’s KCRW followed by San Diego 91X fm
Written, performed and produced by Beatie Wolfe.
