NEW MUSIC VIDEO // 'Take Me Home' released
This music video depicts Beatie Wolfe - in collaboration with textiles label BeatWoven and Mr Fish (tailor to Hendrix, Jagger, Bowie in the ‘60s) - transform her new album's single 'Take Me Home' into the first Musical Jacket of its kind.
Beatie Wolfe recorded Montagu Square’s single ‘Take Me Home’ in the former home of Hendrix, McCartney, Ringo, Lennon & Yoko Ono and in the same room where Hendrix wrote ‘The Wind Cries Mary’ and McCartney penned ‘Eleanor Rigby.’ Wolfe's live recording - complete with ambient sound, resonance of the room - was woven by BeatWoven into a silk fabric reflecting the song's geometric patterning and then cut by Mr Fish (Hendrix, Bowie’s tailor) into the first Musical Jacket of its kind to mark a truly tailored album release for the 21st Century.
