Second Home Hollywood hosted a private screening of Orange Juice for the Ears, the Barbican commissioned documentary on the work of musical weirdo and visionary Beatie Wolfe directed by Ross Harris. The night featured a live performance & conversation moderated by Variety’s James Patrick Herman, recorded direct to vinyl by Phonocut; new work from Beatie including a quadraphonic installation with “the Brian Eno of laughter” Laraaji and an environmental protest piece in collaboration with The Mill. This event was kindly produced by Bedrock.la and supported by dublab radio and featured DJ sets from DJ Molly Rich.
Big thanks to Second Home for hosting the night (do check out their space), Bedrock.LA for producing the night & dublab radio for its support.
